May The Deadlines Be Ever In Your Favour
Happy November! We have a great month ahead of us: Trevor Clare is coming back for an art pop up, our community host, Shailja, is going to show off her barista skills every Thursday morning for the community, and there’s going to be a big tech conference to learn how to keep your family safe while navigating life online.
Looking forward a bit, our Block Party is coming up! This is your early reminder that our 3rd annual block party will be on Thursday, December 3rd from 4 to 7pm.
If you’re new to Commons, the Block Party is a doors open event, where you can explore member businesses, enjoy interactive demos, games, treats, and giveaways. At the start of the evening you get your very own passport that will be stamped at every office you stop at. Complete your passport for your chance to win our grand prize! At 5:30 we switch over to our After Party in Glasgow hall with live music, refreshments, and a silent auction. This year our block party is supporting Food4Kids Waterloo Region.
